Aron Baynes cracked a rib?
Yeah, the more I think about it, this is gonna be a tough game. It would be huge if the Spurs can go 2/3 in the next 3 games.
Maybe from when Tim Duncan hit him in the chest during a time out?
Trying to find a link, just got the flash update on my phone via TeamStream.
Indiana better hope they fall to the second seed if the Knicks squeak into the playoffs. New York looks primed to upset them.
wouldnt mind if SA sat the starters except TP to do the Pacers a favor tbh..
would like for them to knock out the Heat
TP should play since he is flat out terrible right now and needs to get out of his funk
scored 6 points total in the past 2 games
I want the Heat in the finals... forget all this we should lose so Indy can beat the heat bull .
We have a comfortable cushion against both those teams anyway. It's best to try to win this game because the next few games are gonna be tough.
Looks like well be seeing 15 minutes of Ayres. Fantastic.
Did duncan really crack Baynes' rib?
"Matt Bonner (calf strain) and Aron Baynes (cracked rib) out for the Spurs tonight. As for Danny Green, “he's ready to go,” per Popovich."
Key game tonight.
KEY!
a fan with balls.
A le would be redemptive ...
But a le versus the Lebron led Heat would be transcendent
NBATV tbh.
Indy's looking mighty mortal these days, and the Spurs have been humming even with Parker playing like it's 1998. It's definitely going to be the toughest game they've had in some time, but it's winnable, depending on what lineups Pop throws at them. Indy need it more than the Spurs.
Wow...read this IndyStar preview. I couldn't believe their prediction!
Prediction: It's fitting that the Pacers will finish the last full month of the regular season against San Antonio. At least at one time, some believed that this could be a preview of the NBA Finals. The Spurs are playing good basketball at the right time heading into the post season. Indiana may be a different beast at home, but have shown too many alarming signs here in March. The Spurs win 113-80.
Here's the full article.
Sucks that Baynes is out, tbh. Wonder for how long?
Cracked rib? ...I don't see that getting better any time soon.
More Errors?
I never thought I'd say it, but... get well soon, Matt!
On a side note, Baynes is starting to show a concerning lack of ability to stay healthy. Every time he starts to get some consistent minutes and make a little rumble, he gets hurt and derails himself. I know it's a bit of bad luck involved, but he needs to find a way to keep his body healthy and out on the court, or he is going to end up going the way of Ian Mahinmi.
I think at the moment Pop wants to see what Daye has got going in to the playoffs. If pop likes what daye continues to bring or not bring, we could eventually see Daye in the p/o rotation. Sure it's a stretch, but just a hunch based on what i've seen lately.
Hopefully it means more Daye and not Errors.
What was the situation with Ian? I always wondered why the we didn't keep him. Was it because at the time we had the bonner/blair lineup?
So did Duncan actually crack Baynes's rib when he hit him the other night? Or was it probably already cracked and Duncan might've just aggravated it? Didn't look like he hit him THAT hard, but sometimes all it takes is hitting something at the right spot and angle.
