Fun team
I always knew you were an unabashed "shaq fan" ...
That is why you so hard on Kobe ...
But I had been asking EA or 2k to do this for years even have sent emails to the producers whenever they have surveyed for: "what would you like to see in next year's game?" ...
Video games are the only place you can compete the 90's bulls against this years Heat etc. I was thinking of sitting this year's out ... but now I am in!
I wonder if they cry like those Kings did, that would make the game uber realistic
In 2001, Kobe was better than the 2000 squad version, but shaq was at his best in 2000 ...
Tough for me to say which team was better though ...
2001, undoubtedly.
That 2001 team was w/o Fisher for many games (back when he was good)...when he came back from the ankle injury the Lakers won their last 8 regular season games and had the most dominant run in NBA Playoff history, with their lone loss coming in overtime.
Just a disgustingly good team, and we've yet to see a better one since (yes, there were teams before them that were better).
Aw
yes
Good
Glad they got the Rockets
I hope they add the 80's Lakers
And bench players who actually existed
I think the 85 Lakers squad
and the 1980 squad would be awesome additions along with of course the 84 and 86 celts and the Pistons of 89 ...
I also agreee the 96 sonics would be fun ...that was one of my favorite non Laker teams of all time ...
Can't be realistic without the best officiating in NBA history and 2k finally putting in flagrant fouls so they refs can ignore them.
Kings had their chances...a Game 7 at home, can't ask for much more than that. You can't use the excuse that they were deflated from the bad officiating in Game 6 either, because G7 was compe ive and went to OT. Kings win easily in regulation if they don't go 16-30 from the charity stripe.
No pity from me.
Damn that looks good ...will they have the "Dream shake" ...where you getting this info from?
LOL that was 2012 let it go ...if you aint a Kings fan or player that will be 10 years old next year ...
it was some 2kboards, ill find the link
My lasting image of that Magic team is not Penny and Shaq...it's Nick Anerson clanking 4 straight FTs with a 3-point lead in the waning seconds of the Finals.
Cool, thanks ... if they can get the "dream shake" down Rox will probably be my favorite non Laker team to use if there is no 96 sonics ...
I would love if they had more signature moves they have shot releases down pretty well ...but if they could get the stars doing their "go to moves" but not make them "unstoppable" ...that would take bball games to the "next level"
Whoever won doesn't really matter to me, the terrible officiating in game 6 just turned the series in a joke. Lakers might have made a push and won game 6 without the officiating and the Kings might have put a more phenomenal effort to win game 7. I'm not a man of ifs and buts, I just saw the series as a joke plain and simple.
