I think I could have guessed most of the 80s onwards. Vlad surprisingly low even for just 7 seasons. Glaus underrated. Not surprisingly 3 of those names were on the Championship team together.
Brian Downing and Bobby Grich were all-time favorites for old-school Angels fans even post Wally World.

Padres looking amazing these days. The offense has come around and the starting pitching is beginning to stabilize. Just need people to stay healthy.

Including minor leagues, Padres have about eight really good starting pitchers to the Angels one.

Having to apologize for hitting a homer on 3-0 count is what I consider to be soft, tbh.

No apologies necessary. You just got to pay the toll.

For what? Hurting the pitcher/opponents feelings? If so, they need to sack the up or retire and take up knitting or something.

That's how it is in baseball. The players don't want to stand around and watch a team run up the score and shorten the career of pitchers by making them throw all the extra pitches. There's actually sound reasoning to it unlike the dumb sh** in the NBA of holding the ball at the end of the game.

Holding the ball is not a great comparison here.

A home team forcing the opponents to pitch the bottom of the 9th with the lead is more comparable to that Sasha Vujacic launching a 3 for no reason scenario.

"noticed the front door wide open. Due to the exigency of the known facts, Officers entered the residence through the front door and witnessed the suspect grabbing the victim by the neck and throwing her against a wall. Officers were able to immediately take the suspect into custody without further incident. In addition to the strangulation attempts, the suspect also struck the victim with his arm which has a cast from a previous injury. "

RIP to Ozuna's career as a Brave. Season now in jeopardy.
