2007 WCF Jazz beat the 2019 WCF Blazers in 6, tbh.
no
They'll win a game or 2 if the Warriors fall asleep, which they tend to do..
Warriors have to rely on two chuckers at this point. They're very beatable.
Other than Hood, Portland's bench is trash. How did this team make it to the WCF?
Portland 28 3PA, Warriors 33 3PA, Warriors win by 22
I better not see another tweet by Le got about the mid range game
calling Curry a chucker. The Blazers backcourt is much more deserving of that label
Curry is one Bowen undercut from being a Derek Fisher. Not sure there are any of those types left in the Association though.
I've jerked off to this article 4 times
Warriors are 28-1 in their last 29 games when Curry is in and Durant is out
There are so many reasons, KD aside, why people should not be surprised at this. Guys like Kanter playing vs other teams was ok; he’s death vs GS and that is a massive problem.
Beyond that, they don’t have the defensive horses to really make life tough for GS. They can’t punish GS when they go small and can’t go big without Nurk either.
While POR has gotten contributions from Hood, Collins, Kanter and some others, those guys are really bad for POR vs GS. POR is not good enough defensively for a team that moves the ball and off the ball as much as GS.
Beyond that, look at all the guys GS has to throw at Dame/CJ: Green can contain them, Iggy, Livingston for a few minutes here and there. Klay.
POR is cooked with or without KD.
If Durant is out for the Finals Bucks beat them in 6 if back I believe it will be toss up but probably favoring the Warriors.
Curry shot what was it 27 3FG last series? Yea, he's a chucker, bruh.
SMH that people really want to believe this.
Didn't watch the game tonight because I pretty much expected the Warriors to win. Nuggets vs Warriors would have been more entertaining even though Warriors still win the match up. Jokic vs Draymond would have been exciting.
Yea, plus they are more physical too. But they ended up choking up 17 points at home and Hood got hurt in the second quarter and they still lost.
Sure, they're better with Durant. It's ridiculous to say they are worse for having him. Any team in the universe will be better with Durant on it. That said, the Warriors are not a lot worse without him, which is a really crazy situation for a top 3 player. Curry and Draymond are more important to that team's success than KD, despite the fact KD is the best player on it. In other words, they don't really need him, and wouldn't be surprised if they prioritize even Klay Thompson over him in the off-season.
For the next month he could be a gimp with 1 mind on free agency.
bet Portland +8 G2 HarlemHeat37
No.
But 2007 Jazz was a better team relative to the standard of basketball in 2007.
2019 Blazers would smoke 2007 Jazz in 5 at worst.
But the Jazz were closer to the spurs than the Blazers are to warriors.
AK-47 would be MVP candidate in todays NBA
funny how spurstalk thinks everybody on GS besides durant is overrated ...
curry is an overrated chucker
raymond green is overrated
klay is overrated...
and yet sans durant they're still cruising. had already won a chip without him followed by a 73 win season

According to Second Spectrum tracking, the 12 picks the Golden State Warriors blitzed in their Game 1 Western Conference finals win were tied for their most such traps in a game this season with the Dec. 29 matchup against the Portland Trail Blazers. The Warriors have not blitzed more than nine picks in any other game this year, including the playoffs. Nine of the 12 picks Golden State blitzed with two defenders were set for Portland All-Star Damian Lillard.
This was never going to be compe ive. But boy what a dumb game plan from Portland. Like it's a regular season game they don't really want to win.
Atrocious defense of lineups with only one of Curry/Klay + 4 non-shooters.
