He was done before we signed him. Someone in PATFo fked up major and his flamboyancy was the nail in the coffin. It’s actually not that deep. He was smart to keep shot quiet and get paid 99.9 cents on the dollar on the way out; a very common theme lately.

Funny that OKC, NO, and reportedly PATFO love the kid. Parker has reportedly sung his praises. And I know that at minimum Denver likes him and Charlotte likes him.

He's got great defensive flashes. He's long. He's aggressive. Athletic. He has a good floater now, which is often a piece players develop later. And he will only get bigger and stronger which will open up his inside game. His form is such that he will get more consistent from 3pt That means he'sone of the few prosoects that has defensive and offensive skills, inside and out. You only pass that at 9 for Murray or Mathurian.

I'm gonna love this thread in 3 yrs, regardless of where he is. And I'm saying now, before it happens how blindly foolish so many of you are being. WATCH his tape. If you haven't, and are showing group think, then shame on you guys. If you have and you think he's soft, or is a worse Samanich, then I question WTF your eyes are seeing.

Let the chips fall where they may.

I know you're not addressing me specifically, but I have watched his tape. He looks pretty good in his best moments. I can see what's there and imagine what might be. But I don't think he's really been tested as a basketball player enough to be confident that he can handle himself against players ten times better than anybody he's ever played against. But the tools are there, and with good coaching and development he might end up one of the best players from this draft. If you could be sure he's going to pan out the way you're envisioning you obviously take him without a second thought. I'd just prefer a surer bet with the highest draft pick we've had in 25 years. Personal preference is all -- I think there is enough talent at that spot that the Spurs can afford to be more risk averse and still come away with a really good player.
