s getting ing bad, there's almost weekly hacks..not to mention you got Kim Dotcom making deals with hackers so he can play his games online and ..PC Master Race, all you console jews..this is too much.
I much prefer PC games as opposed to console. I do however believe that something needs to be done about these "hackers" because PC gamers are not completely immune to what those guys can do. It is only a matter of time until PC gamers experience these same issues full force. I understand that bringing down services such as PSN or Live are huge accomplishments to the perps, however, what the is the point?
I appreciate what Kim Dotcom tried to do in trying to stop the attacks, but in reality he only aggravated it. If you give a mouse a cookie...
I actually wouldn't mind seeing someone initiate a cash reward for not only the arrest, but conviction of anyone found guilty of bringing down gaming services. I already looked into kickstarter, but it is against their rules. If every gamer were to donate $1.00 to add to the reward, the reward could quickly become millions. Then these little hacker groups would have to worry about being ratted out by their own members trying to make a quick buck off of our dime. Their best defense is their shield of anonymity, but since they operate in groups, how anonymous are they really?
These aren't elite hackers, just DDoS script kiddies who probably bought their bot nets and proxy the out of it. It's hard to trace back something that is initiated world wide but it can be done. The only thing they can do now is wait for someone to slip up or for someone better to get tired of it and try to trace the original source. They are supposedly hitting Tor now which may not be the smartest move.
The gooks internet has been attacked again, this time along with their ty 3G went with it.
PSN is still down for me.

Came back on around 3AM last night. I'm on it now.
Seems to be spotty but if you manage to get on, you're good until the next time its not.

noobs enjoy that , b4 fake accounts on forums was popular, one of the most popular things on chat sites was loading bots into channels like theres alot of members and traffic...mirc
Yeah, DDOS attacks really are old. I remember that being pulled on AOL like 15+ years ago.
I was able to log in to PSN on my PS4 at around 5pm yesterday.
LOL can't log on to play with their R7 260x level graphics.
But fucc the graphics, PS4 just works
Sony invested so many resources to their cutting edge graphics, they completely forgot how to secure their network.

I liked firing up Far Cry 4, though my 970 is only capable of running at the distracting 60FPS instead of the PS4's cinematic mode.
that, I locked my framerate to ultra cinematic 24 fps in the control panel and changed my in game resolution to 1600x900 for that truly immersive experience.
