Lots of things - but I try to learn from my mistakes which include not putting too much store in these experts' opinions.
So the main thing you did wrong was listen to experts.
yup. we should all be armchair experts. who needs years of training and practice when i can just sit in an armchair and have common sense?
All I know is I'm not going to listen to some fancy doctor at the CDC and get melancholia all up in my humors.

You mean the ones who have bungled the data collection and reporting process to continue a daily alert threat that doesnt exist? The same cdc who said it was 10x more deadly than the flu, and now published that its about 2x as lethal, but only to a certain demographic. Not like the cdc who compared it to the kansas flu(your words) nor like the cdc who put infected persons with covid INTO ltc facilities, which account for roughly 2/3 of covid fatalities? Or the same cdc who publishes gunshot deaths as covid deaths.... or is this a different cdc?

You mean like the infectious disease specialist who put me in quarantine in the hospital for what he thought was SARS even though I had never been to the Far East, don't speak the language, didn't come in contact with anyone with SARS, live in Miami (far away from the disease) - because of the color of my skin - that infectious disease specialist? I was forced to stay in there for a week, couldn't see my kids and my husband had to be in full PPE to visit me.

Yeah, those guys. They don't care about your feelings, they want to make sure the rest of the population is not at risk from an asymptomatic person spreading disease.
Not what specialists said. They've been spot on pretty much from the get go on this, just a shame the political leadership didn't follow suit until it was too late.
Right? Trump could've been one of the all-time hero presidents and it really wouldn't have taken any more effort on his part than he expends in his usual day of watching cable news and tweeting.
