A pairing of Kawhi and LeBron elicited this response from one of my cousins down in Monterrey... ˇQue KaBron!!!

for Latino appreciation month the Jerseys should say "Los KaBrones" instead of "Los Spurs"...

LeBron James should come to San Antonio and join the Spurs. That way, Kawhi Leonard will finally have his Scottie Pippen.

Lebron coming to SA would be gold for the Spurs and the City from a marketing standpoint. But it also would probably ruin the Spurs as we know it. Lebron is leaving the Cavs worse off (if he goes). He got them to go into the tank on the salary cap and overpay mostly scrub players. He also dominated the culture and turned his teammates into little Lebronettes. Imagine the en lement he'll teach Kawhi and his folks. And Lebron and his buddies would pretty much take over the Spurs organization. I think Lebron respects the Spurs from afar, but he's more into the Lebron culture.
I want LeBron on the team more than ever, but this is a legit concern for me.

There's a point when I start wondering if the whole "he doesn't have help" is in part his fault. He apparently influences the roster building process, then everybody becomes his inferior sidekick with pressure to perform unless you want to be called one of the plumbers mentioned in the media. He's capable of great things, but also seems capable of freezing his teammates or cutting down their impact.

    Agree with your last sentence.

I think he's realized after losing 3 out of 4, that might not be working for him anymore. If ever there were an organization that he would leave alone and a coach that he would listen to, it's the Spurs.

As well as Lonzo making cheesy music videos with Daddy Lavar grinning menacingly over his shoulder.

    What a circus.

He's 33. He's been to more Finals than Pop, but has LOST more times than Pop has won, 3-6 vs. 5-1. His legacy is pretty much set, and maybe he just wants to enjoy the last third of his career. I'm not saying he's coming, but the odds are better now that he's lost AGAIN. I'm sure he and Pop would sit down and have a long talk about all of these issues, and if LeBron can just let things be.

I’m not getting that vibe. Seems like true hoop talking heads feel that’s the right move but I feel the mainstream media is pushing Lakers..

I mean I see why they’d want it to happen and it looks like it probably will..
