If he can be had cheap I'm on board. Would rather have him for $5-6Mil than Bogdanovic for $15Mil.

I feel about him like I do about Mario and Stanley, if we can't get the bogdanovic type then hes fine as a fall back option.

Once upon a time he had showed promise now not so much. It depends on the price.

    Like the idea of him.

Chip would have his plate full. If they think he can improve, then yeah, he could be got for a bit less than the full MLE.

Given the lack of offensive ability, a last ditch vet min prospect.

Guys aren't usually ready to take Vet Min at 24. Since has just finished his first contract, he still has a chance to develop a bit more.

    Hmm
I've never watched him closely, but a couple of things stand out-
    1. Still young
    2. Per 36 minutes 9 rebounds and 3 assists!
    3. Can't shoot- Not sure how much work is needed on his shot
I could live with him if gotten on the cheap.

By the end of the season he was out of rotation in brooklyn, doesn't look like spur.

That's when you 'buy low'. That's exactly what it means. Guys fall out of the rotation for a number of different reasons. Projects have warts. If he were balling out, Brroklyn wouldn't have non-tendered him.

That's kind of a subjective statement. What about him is un-Spurslike?

A lot of folks on here are probably to young to remember the Lakers/Sixers series back in 02. Tyron Lue (back when he was an unknown 12th man on the end of the bench) was brought into the game as an answer for The Answer. He had no discernable offensive game but he played great D.
We won't have enough money to pay for a true 3 and D player and the cost of 3's who can spread the floor with a strong outside shot are going for more than the MLE.
My point here is that we need a defensive minded 3 who can guard multiple positions. We need someone who can lock down (or at least reasonably contain) LeBron, Nephew, KD (although not this year), the Greek freak, etc... As it stands our best options are a 2 playing undersized 3 or a slow footed 4 who can't stay in front of them.
RHJ may not have the best shot, but if he can defend we may have to turn it into a season long project.
People need to give up on all this needing a power forward talk. As it stands we have a true PF and a small ball 4 AND a 4 who can spread the floor with his 3 ball. We need a true 3 who can play D. Period.

Sure, he'd rather get more than the vet min, but it's all I'm willing to put in front of him.

The guy is a ing awful shooter. And honestly he has gotten worse since he came in the league, which is the most concerning part. If we had enough shooters he might fit, but as it stands we don’t. A pass for me unless he can be had very cheap. I think some team will overpay him thpugh

I strongly suspect that will happen.
    He's intriguing, but flawed.
Of course that's why he is potentialy available....
