Have you tried EB Games? Chris called the other day and they had plenty ....

I know this is very late and last minute. I have a couple of nieces who want this for Christmas. I've called everywhere and no one has any in stock. Do any of you have a new one or slightly used one for sale? Again, I know it is last minute. You know how the whole $$$ thing goes and the Nintendo DS couldn't be purchased earlier. Please help if you can. Thanks in advance.

Well, that would be nice, but they both asked for a DS. I may have to go that route.

Chris has seen them everywhere ... so you couldn't have called everyone. Try Walmart & Target. You might actually have to go into the store, though.
And yes, I'm laughing at the people trying to make a lot of money off of them on Craigslist when they are still available in stores ... you just have to try more than one.

Mo, I just saw the Nintendo DS at the EBgames in the Rivercenter mall yesterday. The Nintendo DS lite is probably easier to find and the only difference between the DS and DS lite is that the lite is thinner & lighter.
Chris is picking up a pink DS Lite for my daughter after work at the EB Games at the Forum ... they said they had plenty.
I just called right now and they sold out.

Yup. Just called the EB Games at the Forum @566-5833 and was told they were out. Damn! I guess I'll wait it out.
the DS is badass. mario DS, new super mario bros, the new metroid game, the castlevania games, mario kart. Plenty of badass games, and it can actually fit in your pocket. sell it if you hate it, scrub.
