hmm all the more reason to run bernie then

statistically, they were gracious with respect to how they voted in the general election. again, if the big (unfounded) concern is that angry berniebros are going to jeopardize the election, then may as well just run him tbh. that way you keep the bros and all the other very well behaved dems will just toe the line
Not if he can't win anyway.

And the defections did arguably make enough of a difference in swing states, caveats noted.

So might as well vote for Trump anyway.

I think he was trying to be funny. But most of the older people I discuss politics feel Biden has the best chance of beating Trump.

It all comes down to the electoral college, which means a few thousand votes in otherwise not overly important states. Yes, Biden has the best chance in those states.

damn. so sounds like 4 more years of trump unless sanders wins the nom.

nothing we can do because of those uppity defectors. not like dems have won any elections recently despite having a good amount of defectors following the primary.

this is pretty funny from that very poll tbh

republicans like tulsi more than democrats do despite her being one of the farthest left leaning members of congress

Public opinion trumps facts these days. Even I'm not immune from that.

I call Tulsi a republican despite her positions being rather progressive.

Hillary gets tagged with being a ty candidate but in my opinion that wasn't what did her in. (my proof is she did win the popular vote by like 3 mil)

She lost even before she ran. Her baggage was too much.

she was vice-chair of the DNC for 3-4 years... but she's been poopoo-ing them since the 2016 primaries. but as far as i see, her criticisms are of the ins ution, not of policy

the baggage was definitely a big deal, but also people caught on to how she was essentially "the chosen one" with the DNC paving the way for her. the nomination really felt like a formality and a right of passage. bernie's wave wasn't "supposed" to happen
