Media sites were way behind on team intel. They still are.
I watch both ends when i see a guy for the first time, he has a lot of work to do, too soon to say anything
Everyone that says he's got a lot of work to do has to do understand that the rest of the team has a lot of work to do too lol. Idk if any of their jumpers are gonna ever be as smooth as Primo's is right now. That's just facts.
Ok other than McDermott, but he isn't the type to create his own shot, he moves a lot and gets open. He's a shooter, Primo's a scorer.
He plays better defense than Walker and has a better jumpshot than DJ and Keldon. And he's only 18. If that ain't promising I don't know what is
If he can hit the 3 at a good rate....Ill be very excited with this pick
Lol...
We won't see him with the varsity until 2023, but so far he's showing that dreaded word...potential.
The kiddo needs to stop turning the ball over.
Others teams first round picks are all dunking on people and hanging 20 on the scoreboard and our first round pick is a tripping and a stumbling and turning over and shooting hopeless layups.
Shrug patience I guess.
Austin Daye ripped up the summer league.
good enough for the spurs
Man Sengun is looking like the real deal...............it HURTS>>>.......
Like I said, that Sengun kid is looking really ing good. Primo will be good but, fvck...
I was begging for sengun. Sad thing is spurs could of been aggressive, and easily ended up with both but screw it just draft another sg next year too
WHY THE DO THE SPURS ALWAYS HAVE TO GET CUTE WITH IT?
It's not rocket science.
You rang???
SMH......... not you!! Believe sir.
They could? Didn’t know OKC who wanted him after Indiana would be ok letting the spurs get him instead of themselves who wanted him
Actually, it is.
Come on in..
The poise Primo plays with is very exciting. Never looks rushed, nor out of control, just looks like he's going to his spots and just finishing whatever ways he can. Definitely reminds me of Manu a bit with the crafty finishes; I certainly think it's a "natural quality" of a scorer to be creative and genuine with his finishes, even if he doesn't yet have the ability to convert all of them, instead of going the other way around and trying to be efficient, then creative. Jrue Holiday is also a very crafty finisher and so pleasing to watch.
The Spurs core is definitely missing a go-to scorer so Primo showing flashes of exactly that is really enticing. Hope he plays in today's game and plays well.
Primo getting lesson-time with Manu sounds like such a good fit.
