I think he deserves a shot to see what he can do. Here is the real question though..... do you really want to see Rasho come off of the bench?
I felt sick watching the choke at the end
Rasho, get used to the bench
I think he deserves a shot to see what he can do. Here is the real question though..... do you really want to see Rasho come off of the bench?
what that a joke?
Rasho got 8 Rebounds and 2 blocks. Hopefully he'll start clicking on the offensive end, but I think Nazr should deserve a chance if he continues to play this well in a limited amount of time.
What I mean is not "Would you rather see him off the bench than start" I mean how depressed would you get when Nazr went to the bench and Rasho comes out? LOL
I dont think it matters who starts as long as the better player gets the crunch minbutes. After tonight I think we all know who that player is.
Rasho is a waste of space, it couldnt be more obvious
^^^ You are easily a moron.
2pts must really impress you right?
but his defense was the key right? the key to the damn loss
Allow me to jump in here: I like Rasho's game, but he doesn't compliment Duncan very well at all.
I'd like to see Nazr start for two reasons:
1. I think Nazr is a better complimentary player to Tim than Rasho is. Put him out there next to TD, and he easily gets 10 and 10 while the defense is focused on Tim.
2. Rasho has proven time and again that without Duncan around he is much better at both ends of the floor. Play him with the second unit and let him be the primary initatior of the offense with the second unit, and he would thrive.
Oh, and that said, Rasho played poorly down the stretch tonight, and I would have loved to have seen Nazr in there.
that said, you dont change a starting 5 with 20 games to go.
Move him into the lineup next year.
Why not? We're technically changing our starting five right now with Tim and Manu on the bench.
I think we have enough space to experiment with this.
So wait till next season to be a better team?
I'm sure the Spurs can live without Rasho's 2pts and 8rbs
uh yeah, injuries do that. Why not? We're technically changing our starting five right now with Tim and Manu on the bench
if Ginobili and DUncan were healthy you wouldn't have a different starting five.
no Duncan, you give the guy more ing time than 20 some odd games to be in the starting 5.
BS. God Duncan get a in brain.
Rasho should of been traded for some extra trainers to take care of TD and Gino
pop is probably having one of those loyalty complexes like the tuna of the cowboys had with Vinny T. doesn't want to give up on rasho. makes excuses like he has great D. I for one believe D can be taught so Nazr should start.
lets see, Rasho plays good defense and knows the system with 1.5 years of experience Nazr has played about 30 min with the Spurs. Nazr will make a great back up center for the stretch run but he's not ready to start yet.
Its sad that Rasho "knows" the system and still was out played by Nazr
experience. Nazr was a better player at both ends of the court tonight than Rasho.
He had more rebounds and points in half the PT of Rasho.
He created more on offense for TMass tonight than Rasho has in one and a half years.
AND he kept Camby and Kmart out of the paint when guarding them, let alone that little pain in the ass Eddie Najera.
There does not exist a parallel universe where Rasho was on the same playing field as Nazr tonight.
, Nazr even shot more FTs tonight than Rasho has in all of 2005.
Rasho played mainly against Denvers starters and had a good defensive game, Nazr played mainly against Denvers backups and had a great game. I love Nazr's hustle and effort, but with his groin injury is he really ready to take on starter minutes?
AHF, if you met Pop face to face what would you say to him?
Just wondering.
I love how people can already declare how great 1 player is based ON 1 ING GAME. But whatever, big props to Nazr for his solid rebounding. Rasho did his job. Which is all ever Pop asks and what Pop gets, night in & night out but for many of you scrubs, that ain't good enough.
It's a in' loss but hey, to me...If I was a Denver fan...I'd feel like a Phoenix fan. Spurs 2 best players were out and we barely won? Doesn't bode well for the playoffs.
