Even at this point in his career, Duncan still plays his best in the playoffs, particularly when things get difficult.

I remember when I first started lurking this site back in December an a lot of the crowd was going at Duncan for becoming a bad post player.
He really was saving it for the Playoffs, where he could use all his moves (he didn't want to put too much unnecessary pressure on his bum knee in the Regular Season).
Like Pop said, he didn't get enough help.
Here's hoping he has another strong season to come.![]()

He's done. Stick a fork in this turkey.
Cool vid. I always love to see Duncan working down on the block.![]()
Only turkey left in this game is the Snack Mamba, tbh.
It's all thanks to Pop's system, Splitter, Leonard and Green.
Yeah he just gets lazy with his moves in the regular season, but he definitely picked it up during the stretch run in the season, then he absolutely destroyed the Clippers in the post all series.
It's much easier to grind your teeth through pain for a series or two than for 82 games. Anytime Timmy pushes off his left knee in the post, I'm sure he feels it. That's why he usually favors his right shoulder now.
Yes, they all make him the low-post isolation player he is.![]()
Tim's offensive play in the Clips was stellar. But the amount of offense ran through him was symptomatic of the struggles of all too many players who were slumping at the wrong time. Additionally, the loss of Splitter killed our offensive flow.
Collectively, the Spurs need to hit on all (or most) cylinders. We can't rely on Tim to put the team on his back.
It was a joke . . . but some on this board would have you believe that they're responsible for every ounce of success the past four seasons.
He used to be able to dominate the entire game, even at 40 he can do it for a half... Legend
