I still say plenty of negative about Dems if that's what you're referring to
Nah, it's more about conflicting takes on basically the same events just with different party affiliations.

Are protests funded or not? If you're going to call someone a conspiracy theorist because they mentioned funding of protest-for-pay folks, don't get all felt up with "goal post move" retorts when I show you.

Yeah, protests cost money. That doesn't mean the protesters are getting paid.
If my living is taken care of because I am a professional on-call protester, then yeah it does.

And what do you mean it costs money? I thought these were organic uprisings of unemployed people.

You'd have to ask SR21 or Vy65 or someone who understands the laws better, but there are limits to federal power where state issues are concerned.
Who would stop a determined Donald Trump? This administration doesn't stand much on legal niceties and from what I can tell, there are close to zero ins utional checks on Trump at this point.

You already posted how they cost money:
    Backing Protests
If helping design police reform represents one philanthropic response to the shootings, activist movements that swelled following the 2014 shooting of Michael Brown in Ferguson, Mo., offer another. Groups that emerged after Ferguson are mobilizing thousands of people for protests that develop with lightning speed and have dramatic impact. Their approach appeals to some grant makers.

"I’ve never seen the level of organizing and activism in Chicago in the 25 years that I’ve lived here," says Alysia Tate, director of programs at the Chicago Foundation for Women, which is funding several activist groups.

Funders for Justice was launched during the Ferguson crisis to support this form of activism. Neighborhood Funders Group and the Unitarian Universalist Veatch Program at Shelter Rock — two organizations backing grass-roots social-justice efforts — joined with the Ford Foundation to start the network, which has grown to 300 members, according to organizers. They provide general and program support to grass-roots activists but also "rapid response" dollars that pay for protest essentials — food, unifying T-shirts, legal support, and bail money when demonstrators are jailed.

Funders for Justice members include the NoVo Foundation, the Open Society Foundations, and small alliances of high-wealth individual donors such as Solidaire, whose leaders include Leah Hunt-Hendrix, granddaughter of the oil and gas tycoon H.L. Hunt.

No evidence that protesters are getting their living expenses paid.

Not a good or even viable rebuttal of what I said. Using totalitarianism as a viable federal response is dishonest as .

If you think totalitarianism doesn't have its nose inside the tent already, you've been concentrating too much on your own navel.

I have no idea what the food is, but I don't see any evidence the "food" is protesters getting free Amazon deliveries sent to their houses.

Strawman it all you want. The protests are funded. People are paid to protest, even if that pay is in food. Flash mob protests on demand in every city isn't cheap. Don't pretend it's an organic "we are all offended" uprising. It's not. It's wealthy folks manipulating the political atmosphere and the market.

    Hardly.

You said the camel's nose is already in the tent so Donald would just go in regardless of state's wishes if he was a truly determined. That's setting the bar at totalitarianism and not accepting anything less. It's chicken that you denied it.
