This year is about player development. Injuries and now missed games due to protocol are a part of the game. Deal with it. Opportunity to increase Thad’s trade value and let Eubanks and Jok get more run to show they are actually NBA players.

50/50 Jock won’t even be given minutes tonight. Lots of Young is my guess. It’s been a two-man rotation so far.

Wow that sucks to catch that when we're only at 1.6% positivity rate in Bexar County now.
Positivity percentage is probably way higher. But with the vaccines working you have a ton of asymptotic cases and those people probably have no idea they have it, so no reason to get tested.

The league should consider revising its policies because we’re getting to the point where positive outbreaks aren’t likely to lead to serious illness and/or deaths since the league is nearly 100% vaccinated.

At some point soon they’ll have to recognize that we’ve succeeded in bringing this thing to a manageable state and they don’t need to micromanage it so much.

    Maybe not today but soon.

I'd revise this a bit. The population of players in the league and employees of teams are likely at a very high rate of vaccination. As such, they are unlikely to have bad breakthrough cases, as you say. To say the pandemic is over isn't quite right -- we're suffering from twice as many deaths on daily basis as we were last year and the holidays will likely see a rise. All, of course, because of the stupidest populations in the country. Just wanting to make clear that we are not managing this in certain areas of the country at all.

What’s the new protocol on vaccinated? I doubt he stays out that long.

People aren’t getting tested as most will think it’s allergies or a slight cold.

I hope you're right but unless there is foul trouble, I can see Young and Eubanks getting all the time except garbage time.
If that is the case we probably have a quarter of garbage time for Landale.

my point is that im skeptical pop will meaningfully give the minutes to guys like Jock, much like he's been freezing Primo out

Thanks for clarifying. Thus far you are correct. Jak will be out a few games at least so i’m sure Jok will get his turn at somepoint. I think Primo is a different situation as he will be getting enough time with Austin.
