R'LY? This wasn't a first round matchup son. This was the Finals!

    Game 1 SAS 89, Knicks 77 (SAS 1-)
    Game 2 SAS 80, Knicks 67 (SAS 2-)
    Game 3 Knicks 89, SAS 81 (SAS 2-1)
    Game 4 SAS 96, Knicks 89 (SAS 3-1)
    Game 5 SAS 78, Knicks 77 (SAS 4-1)

    at best of 5 Finals
at at 37-win team crowned as champion
    at averaging 84.6ppg
    Pat Ewing didn't play
at Jim vs 6'2" Larry Johnson
at farmers counting this as a full le
at all other Finals are best of 7

    -200 points son
How would it be best of 5 if the Spurs won 4-1 Juancho? It would've ended after a team won 3 games.

Lakers lost in a best of five series to Detroit in 2004. Huge asterisk to the pistons.

That streak was nothing short of incredible. I honestly thought you'd fail to get there in 2010. Looked pretty bleak with Jefferson stinking up the joint. lol

TBH I never cared about the playoff streak. I thought it was waste to keep going to the playoffs as a veteran 7th or 8th seed team with no upside. The only streak I ever cared about was the 50 win streak the Spurs had which lasted from '00-'18.

Trivia time: has a 37-win team EVER "won" an NBA championship BEFORE and AFTER 1999?

^ Ernesto is seriously wanting to hang a 2020 Banner next to the 1938 Minneapolis Lakers banner.

fairly sure this is in response to a bunch of basement dwelling gen Z gots voting MJ as the best college player ever.

getting sonned by Dan Dackich as a junior in the sweet sixteen while Kareem was winning back to back to back les and LeBron was in the NBA finals

Lebron would have gotten his pushed in by Ewing in the NCAA Final

lebron was beating the pistons at 21 years old to go to the finals, you think he'd be worried about the MOROAT, most overrated of all time, ewing who was busy losing to 8 seed gerogetown

at least he wasn't being sonned by this:

His victory over Pistons, arguably the personal peak of his career was at 22 years old and 4th season in the League. At 18 Jordan was the superior player. Remember the College game in the 80s was still more centered on Upper classmen not 18 & 19 yrs old today. Also the Golden Age of ACC had Sampson, Bias, and Thompson.

After 4 Pro seasons LeBron might be slightly ahead in accomplishments. At this point Lebron plateaus and relocates to Miami

What Is wrong with that? Has there ever been a team with three elimination games of having 20+ FGA than the opposition in ten years? Asterisks for 00, 02 and 10 lakers.

For context, the 2020 Lakers has 14 losses already. Does that mean 1999 Spurs > 2020 Lakers?
