If she was trying to pass it off as Roy Moore’s handwriting, it still ruins her credibility. Why didn’t she come out at the beginning and tell people that part was added later?

Sounds like Allred should have clarified "except for the annotation" when she said Moore wrote the whole note, and I agree that's how ridiculous FOX/Breitbart are, but I don't see any intentional deceit here. He still wrote the note, and it still proves he knew her when she was in High School which he has denied.
So we have "I didn't know her" vs. proof he did know her
against
"He wrote the whole note" vs. "He wrote the whole note except for the date/location annotation which people have already suggested didn't match the handwriting."
Absolutely mindblowing that the 2nd one is the lede here. I have no idea how people can work for (or even consume) Fox and Breitbart without feeling immense shame.
Looks like FOX changed their headline from "forged" to "wrote part of the inscription."
