true... but it's not just weight; good blockers have a certain mentality that I dont think Epps had, has or will have. Good blockers WANT to hit someone even if the play goes the other direction. Epps doesnt show this mentality even with plays on his play-side.

From a recruiting standpoint, adding Frank Wilson and Emmett Jones to the staff could be an epic move. It could put us as a permanent fixture in the top 5 every year. Then, once we get the talent, they know how to coach them up.
is there actually anything substantive linking wilson to a UT hire? i think it'd be great for him to land at UT. he may not have delivered at UT but from all that i have heard about him, he is a high quality person.

I really don't want to lose Drayton, but if we do, then we really need to go after Frank Wilson. The more I read about him, the more I like what he brings.
Bijan is the jewel of this class, we cannot lose him, if that means stepping up to pay Drayton, that is what we do.
This can't be stressed enough, we want the best, we need to put our money where our mouth is. If we lose Bijan because we lose Drayton then we need to not lose Drayton. I don't care what the cowboys or rams offer.

yes, Flex TE is not a real thing; it's just a le for being a bigger slower slot receiver on LOS. A real TE is tight on the line and dual receiver/blocker. Finley was not tight and not a blocker.

I'm with ya, I equated it to be emotion but I get what you mean about the physicality part. Might be why he stayed at WR when he got here.
I've expected him to get faster, meaner and more dominant since we signed him, but I've seen nothing of the sort.
