Doesn't this go against the very principle and foundation that makes you a Spurs fan. Living in a small market, and rooting for an honest, dilligent, egoless organization like the Spurs, but then supporting drama queens like the cowboys. Never quite understood this.

because the only people that like the spurs are mexicans in san antonio and the southern parts of texas(near mexico so its an obvious fit) and mexicans are all over the cowboys because they worship their idol hispanic tony romo.

mexicans are grasping to find a savior just like whites want a white superstar in the nba

Let's move on. Two huge blocks of Cowboys fan-bases are South Texas and North Texas (Oklahoma).

Cowboys fans are all over Texas (with the exception of East Texas, who are Texans fans).
The Cowboys know San Antonio is a cash cow for them, which is why they hold camp here so often. It keeps the fanbase in SA loyal.

I don't like it or dislike it (I don't watch the NFL, or MLB, or NHL for that matter...)
But while the Dallas fans are more loud, there are MORE Steeler fans. They have the rust-belt locked up, and much of the rest of the midwest... Lots of the south-east too... Most people get ticked off that Dallas (had the foresight) to call themselves 'America's Team'...

    Generally, yes.

Over the last 10 years though there have been a lot of Pat fans, and this last year it seems everyone jumped on the Saints bandwagon.

Trust me it pisses me off as much as anyone seeing Cowboy Fans all over San Antonio. I grew up in San Antonio so I feel a connection with the Spurs, but Dallas is over 4 and a half hours away. I don't feel any sense of affiliation with Dallas. I ing hate being forced to watch the Dallas Boys because they own a big part of the market here in San Antonio... Well now I go hit the Sports Bars, but still.
