Agreed. It fits his MO of injury management/disregard towards local fans, common sense, human decency et cetera. The Clippers do seem to be in an awkward limbo with his day to day status.

This was a PR move made by Kawhi's people. He got criticized for not being behind the bench at games and that's why he finally showed up sitting behind the bench.
