Just like HCQ it has other uses and not all Ivermectin, the oral liquid in small dosages, is sold at Tractor Supply Co. I have no experience with either however I find it funny that a lot in this thread, and elsewhere, put down med alts just because their television told them it's strictly for horses just like they lie about everything under the sun.

Most of yall are on a strict regimen of TV tbh and yall, not necessarily you SB, don't trust the Science but instead the Television.

I guess that Nobel Prize for the use of Ivermectin in People just isn't enough to prove it's a med that can cross over and be used on animals like so many other meds out there.

Ivermectin is an amazing anti-parasitic human drug that has saved many many thousands of lives so yes you are correct these libs are lying or stupid when they say it is a horse drug.

As for treating covid with ivermectin the true things that can be said

- there isn't good evidence it helps or doesn't help
- it has some anti inflammatory properties
- it has some anti viral properties
- at approved doses it is a very safe drug

I'm making fun of two specific groups of people:

Those that go to the feed store and try to self medicate based on internet advice

Those like Joe Rogan who say they aren't at risk from covid and don't need the vaccine but freak out and take everything under the sun as soon as they get the sniffles

When you s get covid make sure you tell your doctor you won't take ivermectin because you are a democrat.

If my doctor who I trust said take a perfectly safe dose of ivermectin it might help reduce symptoms then I'd say okay. Then I'd ask my doctor wife and she would say maybe it will help maybe it won't, there's not enough evidence yet, but it's a perfectly safe at the correct dose. So I'd take it.

FWIW, randomguy's topic is misinformation. If you out the lining of your intestines you would die. Ivermectin can cause gastrointestinal irritation and give you a funky mucousy . Too much habenaro salsa can do the same.
