On a serious note, I was listening to the local Dubs radio station today and they were saying that the Dubs never seriously considered trading Wiseman or #2 pick away even if Klay didn't get hurt but that the Spurs were the only ones they thought gave a passable offer.
That's not surprising at all. I had hope for that possible trade, but given PATFO's track record, it's a good thing I didn't let myself believe it could actually happen.

Ultimately, they felt LMA is too old for them and they rather see Wiseman develop with help from the veterans. They also say that Wiseman is determined to stretch the floor for the them.

Well played by Poeltl's camp. Gave Spurs an ultimatum with 15 minutes to decide whether to give him the deal he wants or he'll sign an upside down offersheet that would screw the Spurs luxury tax-wise.

    Can't knock the hustle, tbh.

DDR and Yak sucked and they'll both be gone next year. Slurpers will say Keldon made it all worth it!

    Edit: Barf
People thought it was ridiculous when I said just suspend Leonard for the season and let him walk for nothing the next summer. Yeah look how well having to get something for Leonard worked out.
I'm excited for Keldon but yeah, we should've just suspended Load Management for the season.

Interesting. So they were just teasing/toying with the spurs. We are clowns now. Here to make people laugh. Cue the goodfellas gif

This all but guarantees that we'll be running it back again this year.

What or how much else is left that Spurs can offer?
For Poeltl, a 3 year deal starting at $ 8,333,333 with 8% raises is exactly 3/27

by my math the Spurs are at about 131 million not inculding Weatherspoon or Tre Jones, but keeping Trey Lyles, and that covers 13 players

    tax is $132,627,000

    They are basically tapped out

It was really Lowe and the national sports media that was toying with us fans. The Dubs made it clear to teams that they were likely keeping the pick, at least according to what I heard tonight.

Bend over. I'll give you a good fit.
P pretty sure you used a similar line with me a few weeks back. Thinking you have "fits" oddly well gauged.
