The only getting obliterated is all the hilarious Repug defenses of Trash (believed only by the stupid, ignorant Repug cult mob) and Repugs' character assassinations of the witnesses.

Mike Turner? from Repug hole of Ohio?
    Oh the irony

Giuliani brags he’s still pushing for Ukraine to implicate Biden — even as Trump faces impeachment

Trump attorney Rudy Giuliani bragged that he was in contact with multiple Ukrainian officials

on the same day that European Union Ambassador Gordon Sondland
threw him and the president under the bus in his impeachment testimony.

Giuliani told Blaze TV host Glenn Beck on Wednesday that he is still working on pursuing the same investigations that triggered the impeachment inquiry.

The reality that people have built a business model on disinformation is extremely worrying. But American didn't really fall for it in the 2018 mid-terms.

Why was it only necessary after Biden declared his candidacy?

The reality that people have built a business model on disinformation is extremely worrying.
Ex-Fox News executive caught running a disinformation and fake news farm — using writers from Macedonia

Fox News paid writers in Macedonia to create click-bait that prompt Americans to fight more about issues.

both the left and right websites created by an international content farm to inflame people enough to click and share content.

“The sites are the work of Ken LaCorte, the former Fox News executive
who was accused of killing a story about President Trump’s affair with Stormy Daniels, the pornographic film actress, before the 2016 election,”

    Young Macedonians in Veles were
the ones “churning out disinformation” for the 2016 election campaign.

“Among Mr. LaCorte’s network was one writer who helped peddle a conspiracy theory that Hillary Clinton had ties to a pedophile ring,”

Macedonian town of 55,000 people was the registered home of at least 100 pro-Trump websites.

Wired described them as sites dominated with sensationalist, utterly fake news.

there are several websites owned by LaCorte that are promoting disinformation, conspiracy theories, propaganda, and inflammatory content.

, Mr. LaCorte’s websites are a reminder that there is a cottage industry of small sites happy to stoke passions on both sides of the political aisle and cash in on that anger,”

    Fiona Hill’s startling testimony shows

Trump’s crime is so much worse than abuse of presidential power

Donald Trump wasn’t only involving Volodymyr Zelensky in an illegal scheme to benefit himself personally.

He’s trying also to rewrite the history of the 2016 election to wound enemies (Joe Biden and the Democrats) and help friends (Vladimir Putin).

The entire Republican establishment has backed him up.

Putin said yesterday that he’s glad to see the “political battles” in the US have taken the focus off his country:

“Thank God, so religious, this murderer.

    no one is accusing us of interfering in the US elections anymore;

    now they’re accusing Ukraine.”

Indeed, everything we are seeing coming to light now has been an effort to validate—to make real—this hoary Kremlin lie.

Turning falsehoods into political reality is what fascists do.

If Putin’s lie sticks, we won’t be able to defend ourselves adequately against Russian disinformation going into 2020,

fact witnesses in the House impeachment hearings keep bringing us back to the same place,

to the chagrin, it should be said, of

Democratic leaders who’d like to get away from Russia talk.

Fiona Hill, a former National Security Council official, is set to blast the GOP for carrying Putin’s water.

, I would ask that you please not promote politically driven falsehoods that so clearly advance Russian interests.

Everything comes down to whether the impeachment vote is going to be a serious process or a totally political process. If it's the latter than we know the outcome already but either way, the process was necessary.
In fairness, the whole process is political. The question is whether there are any democratic norms that trump political expedience for the GOP.

    We'll see.

Democrats spent $140 million in "dark money" in 2018. It's impossible to determine what Americans "fell for" based on the outcome.

The House vote will of course, just like the ACA vote, be totally Dem yes and Repug no, with Repugs saying of course, duh, that the POLITICAL impeachment of their hero Trash is partisan, duh, and illegit, which is exactly how ALL Repug cult mob will see it.

The objective of the Repugs is to lower the threshold of illegality, ignore/violate the Cons ution, so The Next Time the Repugs do it or similar even worse crimes, people will shrug.

What a stupid ing take. Americans went to the ballot box in the 2018 mid-terms convinced by disinformation that Trump was an agent of Russia and colluded with them during the election.
