I'm starting to wonder if Lyles will just plain get waived soon. There would be no impact on this summer's cap space because he's expiring anyway, and if I understand things correctly the Spurs still have some wiggle room under the tax to sign another player.

I've thought about that too. Apparently the waived and be eligible for the playoff deadline is April 9th, if he's not playing and he wanted a trade but it didn't happen then maybe they'll try and do him a solid.
Lyles is at the point where he might get waived? I know ST always does 180s on players they hate once they become Spurs ala LMA, DD, Gay, but it seems our thoughts about him before he ever joined SA were accurate.

Lyles had so many fans before the season and they were all arguing with me that we should keep him. Now he has none. Everyone comes on over to ol KA’s side eventually
That being said, I’m hoping Derrick White has a good game and we get the win. He needs to get his together if we are going to have a shot at the playoffs.
