Adande said years ago on either the BS Report or Lowe Post that he had one of the 7 votes, they were already in and it was going to Duncan.
Torturing myself and watching game 6 replay right now on NBATV.
Parker hit huge shots. Tim lead team in scoring.

Duncan.
TD and it isn't close
Depends on how the Spurs won. Had they won in 6 with Green lighting up from three again, he would've gotten it. In that same vein, any of the Big Three would've gotten it had they dominated to close out the series.
Yup Green was pretty amazing that series tbh
The San Antonio Spurs lost in 2013!! Get over it!! Geez.
This. If Danny Green hadn't gone cold, Spurs probably win Game 6 and he gets FMVP.
After that, I think it's a tough battle between Duncan and Parker. Duncan had the better stats and more steady series...but Parker hit a lot of big shots, especially in Game 1 and Game 6.
Either way, it will always be a what-if because of Manu's turnovers in Game 6, two missed free throws, 1 missed rebound, and Pop deciding to bench Duncan.
Still think Manu shoulda won the 05 FMVP. A case could have also been made for him in 14.
Duncan imo.
And I'm still in the camp who says Pop was absolutely right to take Duncan out at the end of game 6.
He was awesome in that series and deserved the MVP.
I wonder how history would have been rewritten had they won in 2013. Winning a Finals MVP in three separate decades would have been pretty awesome.
The MVP for Miami should have been the idiot that said to bring out the crowd control rope.
Danny Green had he kept hitting, tbh. Crazy to think a role player like that was even in the conversation. A testament to the spur's rock solid system at the time.
Duncan easily.
When defense is factored in.
Duncan tbh.. he deserved it also in 14
ala iguodala in 15 ? nah tbh..
Duncan, but that series was over after game 5 when Parker decided to play for the finals mvp and ginobili along with popovich got the call to throw the series.
duncan should have 6 finals mvps
giving kawhi the mvp in 14 was ing bull even if he didn't turn out to be a grade A butt er
Iguodala was an all-star caliber player and the franchise leader in Philly though before his time in Golden State. LDN would have been the most unorthodox Finals MVP of all time, but many reports seem to point to Timmy getting it that year if they won.
2014 was all Parker. He had a matchup that the Cavs could do nothing about and he beat up the Cavs time and again. Other guys played great, obviously, because it was a sweep, but that was the year Tim and Manu handed the reins over to Parker to dominate.
Ginobili got fouled by Bosh in the waning seconds of regulation. The Spurs were robbed.
Andre was 31 y/o in 2015. Dude was scoring like 7 ppg 10% usage that year.. more role player than Danny. Probably odds in Vegas for Danny to be mvp were much much higher than Andre
Green averaged 18/4/1/1/2 in the first five games of the 2013 Finals. He was excellent on both ends. The suggestion that he would not have deserved to win had he done that in a decisive Game Six win is not well founded. You could've made the argument for Duncan, but it was definitely "close".
