NFL defenses/defenders are incredibly re ed sometimes. NE sent just one guy on a route, it didn't cross somebody's mind to stay with that potential receiver? They just go blindly after the ball like a deer caught in headlights.
whelp, Adams got the last laugh of the drive on that two point failure.

"last laugh" after giving up a TD
Running on 3rd and 18 when you have arguably the best QB in the entire league
This is why I can't get fully behind the Seahawks hype: Carroll's prehistoric game calling.
Newton gets his chance again. Played well all game except the 1 pick. Can he lead them all the way down?
To beat this new Patriots look offense, you have to just not let them inside the 10 yard line... you stand a pretty good chance between the 20s if you have any kind of a competent defense though. Seattle hasn't done a good job of getting off the field on 3rd downs tonight.
Agree, but 3rd and 18 with that field position is dangerous in any case. The real problem is running on 1st and 20. That should NEVER be a run play.
Seahawks need a strong TD drive here. No penalties, no dumb playcalling. Just #LetRussCook .
Russel Wilson is officially the best QB in football.
Wilson positioning himself as the early MVP favourite.
Wilson just too damn good and smart for the rest of the league
Perfect season if not for a stupid drop that became a pick 6 (100% the tight end's fault) so far for Russy.
Never. The Nepotism is real. And they were #1 in the league last regular season so Belichick will always make sure that is world known.
I think Rodgers is #1 for now because of the lack of interceptions and same record/similar stats otherwise. Unfortunately Greg Olsen's stupid drop - pick 6 is going to count against Wilson's MVP chances.
Rodgers got a game managing win today. The stats aren't really all that close, tbh.
Wilson - 610 yds - 80% com - 9 TDs - 1 int
Rodgers - 584 yds - 67% com - 6 TDs - 0 int
Patrefs still a thing. Crazy since the Seacucks usually get these calls.
just needs to his way in to win, he sure as isn't throwing a TD here.
