I think in a situation like that with a player down, most players would be concerned and try to check out, comfort, or help in some way. The Spurs are, no doubt, special with great people throughout but other teams would probably respond similarly.
Has anyone noticed how close the Spurs are together, almost like a family. For example, when Duncan went down yesterday, Beno froze with his hands out, hoping others won't fall on Duncan and that he's okay. Malik did the same thing as well. He went over to Duncan and comforted him, asking if he was okay. Further, when Horry dived after a loose ball, Duncan quickly jumped up, even if his knee was sore, and helped Robert up. Last but not least, when Duncan came back from the locker room, everyone gave Timmy high fives, happy to see him okay.
This did not just occur in the Lakers game. I also have noticed how Spurs players RUN to help their teammates off the floor.
There's a lot more that I haven't mentioned. It is interesting to see how a team can be so close. One of the many things why I AM A MAJOR SPURS FAN!!!

I am sure all of Vince Carter's teamates roll their eyes when he goes down.
that sig is going to give me nightmares....
Oh, you meant when he gets injured?
yeah, I just go back and watch 50's sig to clear my head.
[thank you, Fitty]
"that sig is going to give me nightmares...."
then turn sigs off
haha
well played
Some people take great pride in illiciting that type of a response.
Ahh yes. I can just picture Kobe rushing over to help Shaq up after a bad fall..and vice versa
Rushing yeah...to step on the guy
What does Joumana think about that?
Sure, other players on other teams will help their teammates when they are down, but they just do not have the same quality the Spurs have.
Man, that's just too cold.
But everyone knows that lead would have stayed if TD stayed in the game.
You wanna know about blowing? Read your mom's diary.close knit my ass !
they blew a 28 point lead to a team w/o Kobe and half-a-season of familiarity !
In the meantime, SA 38-10 & Minn 24-23

Poor Rasho, he looks left out in the first picture. Maybe that's why he's play poorly--he has no friends
Once again wolves009 is a dumbass!!!!!!
You are such an asshole!!!!
Istead of ing about the Spurs (most of your comments are bull anyways) you should take a look at your precious T'pups. They suck!!! from 1st place last year to 24-23 this year with basically the same roster. Now that is not a close knit team.
Wolves009 is a child.
The Spurs didn't blow the lead. They won the game, dummy.
As of today, the wolves are oficially .500.
From a le contender to a "middle of the scoreboard" mediocre bunch of t-puppies.
Suck on that Wolvesie009
PS: That KG fellow, what a true MVP!!!!
TD>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>KG
Wolves is the scariest 9th seed ever....!!!...
ninth seed, oh wolvesie what will you do.
