Fvck!
You could be right, but he seems more like a Patty Mills replacement.
Starting seems unlikely, but who knows.
If Murray or White stubs a toe Forbes could start all year.
I feel you bro’
One more here who still can’t believe this is true. Every time I see this thread:
I was so happy to see the direction we end up going with the young talent and new blood, finally turning the page on DDR, Mills, Gay, Marco and Forbes, and the FO had to go and ruin it. If Forbes is more than a bit player this season I'm not sure I'll be able watch.
should've signed dennis schroder instead.
why the eff would forbes opt out of a championship team and then go to the spursies to cool his buns and make less $$$
He wouldn't. He won't be making less money. He didn't turn down that much.
Same. Very deflating
Same. Very deflating
Wonder if Forbes gets half of what Patty got from the Nets.
I'm pretty sure he and Landale are splitting the $4.9-Million room exception. The Spurs might have a bit more cap space depending on how they order their signings, but it basically looks like the RE and min deals left. I guess Landale could take a min deal and Bryn could have the full $4.9 Million, but that would be distressing.
Thanks. I thought Landale was a little better than minimum guy, but maybe that's just what he has to do get into the league. Paying Forbes the full 4.9 would definitely be distressing.
Exactly!!
Just adding the daily "Fvck!"
All kidding aside, if you think Spurstalk is angry now just wait until Forbes is getting 20+ minutes and being used as the second or third scoring option while the youth just rots behind him...
That one game where Bryn goes off against the spurs.
Has to be the reason. blame it and the youngsters for reminding Pop where his lovechild has been all this time.
Every time there's a -up this coming season pop will look to set the example. Bryn will be his man folks.
Bryn is the tank commander. Depending on how much Pop plays him, we could finish anywhere from 6-12 in the west.
I think they are letting us go through the seven stages of grief before providing contract details.
