spurs don't have a finisher ...that one baller that can take over a game when you need him to
It's not gonna happen. The team is playing too well and trying too hard to be tanking. They'll eventually go on some winning streaks and will likely end up on the playoff fringe.
Vassell's needs to be more set on his 3 pt shots. A lot of the missings he has had over the games is when he rushes into a slightly off balance shot.
White...I don't have an excuse for his terrible shooting at the 3pt line. He has always been streaky.
Murray is not a 3 pt shooter.
Lonnie was on a hot streak and went to the bench and then never got a chance to get minutes or get going again afterwards.
It's almost as if we have a coaching problem. Other teams stealing all our good assistants has resulted in senile Pop and the reject crew coaching our youngsters. Brain drain at an organizational level.The way we defended westbrook all game was hilariously dumb to. You won't see another team pressing him at the 3 point line all year like we did tonight
Would've been an awesome game. DJ thinks he's a better shooter than he is; no one can hit a free throw; Lonnie getting benched inexplicably - a weird but fun game nonetheless

Honestly Pop should get an F. 3 out of the four games this team has been gassed at the end of the fourth because he refuses to sub players out early in the fourth. The clock management with 40 seconds left is just incredibly stupid. You can't afford to let 20 seconds go off the clock when you're down 4. Being down 6 with the ball with 35 seconds left is far better than being down 4 with the ball with 20 seconds left. Its really frustrating when professional coaches don't appropriately value time. And having your guards up on Westbrook 30 feet from the goal all ing game is literally insane.
The Thad Young acquisition has been so badly mishandled tbh
The trade itself was a no brainer but they turned 1st round value into a likely buyout. What's worse is that he can actually be a really serviceable, rotation player for the team....

Are we not gonna talk about how useless Keldon was against Lakers big interior defenders? I really don’t like his offensive style tbh. I know he’s not gonna be going against rim protection like that every night but he’s gonna need to change something. His drives are very predictable.

Unlike Westbrook, Murray isn't a whiny or a dirty player. He also actually plays defense. Russell hasn't tried on that end of the court since college

Meanwhile, Derrick White completely disappeared during the 4th quarter and OT, but SpursTalk will probably blame that on Pop somehow and insist he is still the player of the future.
