Spurs win% right now if they would have beat the 76ers = 0.471 and the 8th seed.
Yes you are right technicaly and mathmaticaly spurs will still have a chance.
However i personaly feel it must start happening today or it wont happen
portland toughest challange is dellas.
Memphis must lose 2.
Counting on them on losing
Spurs win% right now if they would have beat the 76ers = 0.471 and the 8th seed.
Sucks that we won’t get to play as many games as the other teams. Very likely that we end the season with less losses and don’t get a chance to match their wins.
yeah its a shame
yeah good start Philadelphia scrubs
Hopefully Shake Milton has a career game.

Suns vs Spurs play-in would be the best of both Worlds, right? We beat them, we get in. We lose, we get 10. Or am I mistaken?
man these 4 teams are neck and neck. crazy.
the NBA should make a last minute adjustment with this playoff scenario thing. this whole restart thing is wack to begin with so making "in season adjustments" shouldn't be out of the question.
if the Grizzles, Blazers, Spurs and Suns end up within a game of each other to end the season, they should change the 8/9 "play in" to the 8,9,10,11 "play in". 8 vs 11 and 9 vs 10. One and done. Winners move on and winner of the 2nd game becomes the 8th seed. i don't think doing this would change much because the 8/9 seed were going to play against each other anyway so its not like they were a lock to make the playoff. i think the only team that wouldn't like this idea would be the team that ended up as 8 seed since now they would need to win 2 games vs just winning 1.
the eastern conference wont be having a play in so the extra game being played shouldn't be that big a deal scheduling wise. and this should be done as well since the separation between these teams seem to be based on uneven # of games played which makes it a bit unfair to lose out because you played less games.
i know it won't happen because they already made their rules but i don't think it would be an outrageous thing to do considering how close these teams are to each other record wise.
Suns will end up blowing out 76ers.

I agree. There should be a mini tournament for the 8 seed. The race for 8 has been the most interesting part of the restart

All these what if's drive me crazy. I'll just check back in 4 hours and by then we'll have a pretty good idea or what is possible and what is not.
Hard to care when Embiid, Simmons, Horford, Richardson, and Harris are all out.
So the Suns control their own destiny.
If they win today vs the Sixers, win tommorow and they are in.
Right?
I was under the impression that the lottery odds were locked from the pre-bubble unless a team got into the playoffs, but I could be wrong.
The Suns get in if they win their last two, the Grizzlies lose their last two and the Blazers split their two. The Spurs get in if they win their last two, Memphis loses both and Portland and Phoenix split their final two.

What is just the above happens? Still not enough?
Do the Spurs need this to happen to get in period?Portland and Phoenix split their final two
Yes Portland and Phoenix must split because the teams in the bubble have not played equal games.
