what you speak of isn't plausible. when it's said to be plausible it's merely lies by commies. there is no utopia where we are all on the same page and want to push humanity forward together.
That's actually not true. Post 9/11, for example, this country rallied together. Same thing with Pearl Harbor...

It's just a shame that loads of Americans need to die for this country to finally rally around a common cause.

It's also reprehensible that something like this pandemic was highly politicized from the get go. After all, we lost more Americans to this than both 9/11 and Pearl Harbor combined.

he's lauding a utopia which only exists in the minds of trendy leftists/progressives/communists. no utopia can defeat the individual who strives for more out of life.
Nobody is arguing we shouldn't strive for more in life, that's a copout. We're talking about a very specific, temporary, health emergency.

Sure, snowflake. You can't stop there from being random ass holes who will selfishly ignore the good of the people around them. Issue is that in the US that's like 30 percent of the population and that one of the political parties basically shelters all of them. It's not an accident that the same people who guzzle down the "rugged individual" lie when it comes to the economy also suck it down greedily when it justifies them not wearing a piece of cloth over their face.

It's like you're just reading from your anti-commie handbook with no regard for the actual points being made.

Having better mask-wearing conformity isn't a fantasy dude, basically every other country seems able to do it in real life.

i look at it like this... if you worry to the extent it makes you sick to be around others because some might not wear masks then stay home and stay afraid.

i don't agree nor like the masks but i wear them wherever i go except in my car and outside. i also see what's going on as more than just a virus sweeping through our world. yall call me crazy anyhow but giving away your freedoms as an individual is more damning in my mind.

i just can't get behind this mindset when riots/leftist gatherings are celebrated by our media and politicians as safe and not able to spread the virus. this fraud already!

Or like those countries your fellow conservative RMT was lauding.

Regardless, if you're now admitting that it's possible to be more collectivist, that's note-worthy. It's not a "fantasy" is it requires just being more like Australia, or whatever.

Nah, you're sounding like you're backing off saying being collectivist is impossible and are now saying, "Well sure it's possible, but only if we're pussies." If that's true, collectivism should be right around the corner, because I've never seen bigger pussies than the folks crying about having to cover their face on other people's private property.

I think there's a lot of politicization going around on something that shouldn't be. The virus doesn't care if you're a red or blue teamer.

I don't disagree with you there's a lot of hypocrisy and double standards in a number of ways. However, things like social distancing and masks shouldn't be controversial at all, until at least there's a workable treatment or vaccine.

yall call me conservative every chance yall can. it's comical. i'm more of a tim pool type of dude that believes people should do what they want in life as long as they aren't pushing it on others or using violence to get their way. i'm pretty ing liberal and i'm also an american that loves my country unlike some these days.

i know no one like that and have only read about those "people" here and seen a couple in videos on YT. i don't think it's as prevalent as you make it out to be. but yes collectivism is here; when you get adult men claiming they're feminists well we're already a lost cause.

"Liberal" in the sense you're saying it and "conservative" in the sense people normally mean nowadays aren't opposites. The US is liberal, whether the left or right is in charge. But you bringing up conservative-ass Tim Pool is nifty.

we buy into social distancing right but who's done all this studying that 6ft is safe? masks? well we got contradicting info weekly on everything we've been told from the get go. i'm at the point of believing nothing i see or read anymore. 's too contradictory especially coming from those we're supposed to trust like fraudci.

So just as a flag, you're spouting off a conservative viewpoint here.

No idea why you think collectivism has anything to do with feminism, though. You can be collectivist and all kinds of bigoted.

i don't equate feminism with collectivism... i equate male feminists to being weak men. those weak men weaken society and we all become weak and collectivists whether we want to be or not.

weak men bow to those who tell them to. WEAR THAT MASK! that turns into... FACE THE WALL!

So you're equating feminism with collectivism AND totalitarianism but just insist on showing your work...

Like are you even trying at this point? Feels like you're so far down the conservative rabbit hole at this point.

Congress appropriates the money. Pretty basic.
    Two things.

First as has been pointed President Bad Combover vetoed none of the spending bills and proposed and championed the supply side tax cuts.
Second the POTUS as leader of the executive branch EXECUTES the actual spending.

Your take on how the Federal government works is even more basic than schoolhouse rock.

Believing in equality for all Americans is weakness? How Orwellian of you.
Mask wearing is an issue of public safety and that is why it easily passes cons utional muster as the right to life is pretty much tops in the hierarchy of granted rights. There's a reason that executions are reserved for on the highest of crimes and even then challenged.

As for weak men, you are 5'9" and maybe 150 lbs, Joey. 80% of the male population and a fair bit of the female is stronger than you.
