Spurs need a guy to spell Duncan, not another undersized PF.

I think when the Spurs season is done, that the think tank moves here logically, as their is little else to talk about. Same thing with "other teams" or NBA board, not much to talk about other than the finals.

Undersized power forwards are usually good scorers but rarely good defenders. Scoring hasn't been our problem. We need better interior defense to prevent the other team from scoring so easily.

i agree.. i'm just saying don't automatically dismiss a PF because of height..

bass is measured at 6'8.. this is just a matter of 4 inches from being a 7 footer.. it's not like any 7 footer is just gonna man handle the guy based on height alone..

bass is a good rebounder and is reliable from the free throw line.. while i believe we need interior defense, i wouldn't mind signing bass.. we'll still need some more offense in the paint to relieve duncan a bit.. he's not getting any younger..

either way im sure he wants a bigger paycheck elsewhere
