Why is there a Euro League benchwarmer in the same picture as Hakeem, LeGOAT, Kareem, Duncan and Shaq?

If I'm building a team: Kareem since he's somewhat redundant with Tim and Hakeem both being two-way players and Shaq being the most dominant offensive presence in NBA history

If I'm getting rid of the worst player: Kirbs

In this picture I see five great, unique players and one player that is just a lesser version of another great player.
So, I have to say that copycat doesn't cut it.

Exactly how I have them (well I'd probably put Kareem #1 and Duncan #2 but it's close). Kirby is a full tier below these guys.

LeBron at current pace could make a go at being the top of this list by retirement, but he's not there yet.

I feel like Hakeem is becoming a forgotten big of the 90s. He was clearly the best big man in that decade, and that says a lot.

Yeah, it's kind of a cop-out on my part to do the 1a/1b thing, but it feels right because Tim is basically the contemporary Kareem.

    Jim Cuckan.

Product of the system and easily replaceable. His team hasn't skipped a beat since he retired. In fact they're set to make their deepest playoff run in years.

    Easily Kobe.

The others are top 10 all timers.

If TMAC is the one who posed the question, he should ask himself which player on there he could replace and the team would still be just as good.

"deepest playoff run in years" a couple years removed from a chip and b2b Finals appearances

    27 wins
    21 wins
    17 wins
    3 straight missed playoffs
    Deng + MOZGOD + 2 BUST #2picks - Kirby = 28 win pace
    Lkers
    Kobe

Meanwhile the Lakers are set to have their best season in at least 3 years, right after Kobe retires.

As opposed to Kobes team that has gotten even better with his absence
