The only Finals video I'm finding for Forbes, btw.

Okay, there's more. Didn't filter past a week.

On his right place as a non-rotation player.
He will always be able to tell his grandkids he was a double digit scorer (exactly 10 PPG) for an NBA champion. Will leave out being dropped from rotation after losing first two finals games.

Any coincidence Bucks won all four games once he was dropped?

players have been thriving after leaving the Spurs lately
He lost his spot in the rotation to the corpse of Jeff Teague's career

Does this mean DeRozan is ringing next year?
Wouldn't mind seeing that since it would mean he's gone from here

Sometimes basketball isn't always about talent, sometimes its about making the right decision. Forbes made the decision to take a bit less money and join the bucks. He probably would have been an end of the bench player no matter where where he went, but he chose the bucks, and it paid off. His name will forever be on the list of all NBA champions while Chris Paul, CP3 with the 40 million dollar per year salary will not. He may not even be on the suns next year !
Talent may get you a large salary, (not always earned) but it doesn't always buy a championship. Today, Forbes is a champion (congrats), while CP3 on vacation with all his millions can only say wait till next year.

As if anyone was offering him , pity signing because Pop made the call.

Brent Forms barely played in the Finals, Bud utilized him correctly by leaving him on the bench

Forbes is what he is and Pop failed to acknowledge it.

Bud played him like he is meant to be used...a shooter off the bench meant to be used only for spot minutes. He should never be on the floor during crunch time due to his defense, and rightfully got buried on the bench after the Bucks lost the first two games.

Good for Forbes, he played a role and got a ring. Still glad he isn't stinking it up for us anymore.

Pat missed some shots but dude constantly seemed to be in the right place, I remember a couple of instances he got his hand on offensive rebounds down the stretch or made a nice rotation defensively.

PJ didn’t have to miss shots because he just didn’t take them. In a finals elimination game you really aren’t banking on role players hitting those shots unless you have a legend like Horry or that bald in Miami.

Basketball is a really intricate game, and so much happens off the actual ball that people don’t pay attention to. There is so much of this game that can’t be quantified with commonly used stats today. And as a result, there’s a lot of really good plays and moments from players that will go forever unrealized by most fans.

Goodluck to Bryn. He’s a success story, undrafted, played hard playing his role which is a shooter. Not everyone’s built as a franchise player. And now he’s a Champ! He deserves it.

Coach Bud is a champion too. I was really hoping he could go back to the Spurs, but it looks like his job is secure now.
He's taking over when Pop retires - in 2045.

Well, Coach Budenholzer was smart not to play him when things got tight in the playoffs.

This. As a regular season filler he's fine, specially if not overused. Coach needs to be aware of his deficiencies and limit the minutes when games are tight.

I’m super happy for coach Bud, Giannis, Middleton, and the Bucks

not gonna lie and say I’m not said for coach Monty Williams though. But I liked the Bucks team as a whole better.
