I used to live right around the corner from La Frontera in Round Rock. I moved a few months ago down to San Antonio because I bought a house.
so crazy, seeing the damage it did to that area and Elgin. SMH.
Anyone here get hit by one of these tornados? Saw one in Round Rock near the La Frontera shopping area. Wasn't good.

It's starting to be that time of year. Buckle up because between now and early June it's the season.
I have a cold but when I went to bed I was seeing stuff starting to go down around Hays County.
Been through Crockett. They got it pretty good tbh. Whole row of power poles were on the ground
I read it was an EF-1. Imagine something Moore Oklahomaish.. there wouldn't be a Round Rock.
Picked up a new car at Rush in Elgin, they said they watched it go by across the street.
Jarrell had an F-5 obliterate the city in 1997, so it's definitely possible in Round Rock.
I was around for that one
The sky was green. Sickly still and humid that day.
The track was NE to SW-opposite normal tornado tracks.
that's straight up bizarre, especially in May. Tornadoes almost always go west to east. Exception would be tornadoes associated with tropical storms and hurricanes in summer time.
I think we're overdue for an above average tornado season, like 2011 or 1974

I was at US 183 at IH 35 when it hit Cedar Park HEB-it was unreal in north Austin
Hey...were there any Spurs players at the HEB?
Minor league BB was not a thing back then
IIRC
There is a vid of the tornado hitting the HEB up in Cedar Park
I think back then Gregg Popovich was there and we retreated to the syrup isle on our way to the cooler. We bumped into a jar of molasses that fell and broke, and as coach stood there just watching it until it got on his shoes, he just laughed. "I'll never quit, they'll have to carry me out" he said.
From KENS 5. Severe storms again expected tonight overnight from northern Bexar county all the way up north to Waco and eastward. SA is expected to be spared of the worst stuff this time around.
.
looks like a pretty dry April ahead to me.
I am hoping we get a bit more rain this year. I don’t like the wild fire warnings, just as much as I hate the tornado watch. I went to Austin yesterday, around where I used to live and I seen the damage the tornado did to some areas. Literally the Bank of America I went to got jacked up and the H&R Block I go to had a little bit of damage and the workers there had vehicles that were damaged.
Hit Tyler last night. My whole neighborhood is ed. Trees down everywhere. Heard them snapping while we hid in the hall
How about the houses themselves? Looking at pictures I see a lot of damaged structures.
Dixie Alley is getting it big time today.
I know Salado got ripped up pretty good.
