    In the US overall: https://www.washingtonpost.com/natio...ve-updates-us/

In SA it was 347 today. Dropped to under 300 two days ago and has been rising again. All other stress indicators went up too: hospitalizations, ICU admissions, ventilator use.

Expect things to get a little worse in the next couple of weeks. Call centers are getting hammered and there's a backlog of test still pending results. FYI, if you go get tested, ask for a rapid test--usually get those in 1-2 days. This is for Texas btw.

Yes. NP swabs have ~70-72% accuracy--a little better than OP swabs.

Damn you get nose ed for only ~70% accuracy? I thought those active virus tests were way more accurate and it was the antibody tests that were super questionable.

Really? I was in Manhattan yesterday and was stunned by how empty the streets were, looked like something out of a zombie movie.

The ones I’ve encountered range somewhere between 70-79% accuracy. It’s not perfect but no test is—getting false +\- is not always a bad thing—100% reliability is not a good thing.

Mostly anyways. We still have the limited gathering rules in place. This Friday is supposed to be the last phase of opening which includes all of NY.

Movie theaters and gyms aren't opening at all though.

It already burned through NYC like a raging California wildfire. I doubt there's going to be a e there.

But keep those jews out of the park. Riots and protests are fine, tho.
