Lol! Can't dwell on that stuff tho.
From an Indy Twitter account, the lottery dress rehearsal…
Lol! Can't dwell on that stuff tho.
What’s the biggest jump since the latest format though? It seemed it followed pretty much the order
NBA owners have around $10 billion in Chinese ventures despite the government’s authoritarian crackdown on free speech and the imprisonment of Uyghur Muslims in the country, ESPN reported, citing a study conducted by a New York-based firm called Strategy Risks.
So Adam Silver pulled the oops-redo-that-didn't-count card?
Anyone familiar with the DID NOT NEED TO KNOW concept???
I wondered how many times they test ran before the actual lottery. No crying over spilled milk
Enough to get it right.
As many as it took to get the desired results?
J/k. I'm not a conspiracy theorist, but still hurts, tbh
We were drafting the same player at #9 as we were at #1. I've made peace with that.
What's the point of a dress rehearsal with an actual drawing? Throw non-lotto teams in it if you have to do just to avoid this exact scenario.
state lotteries do like 3-4 test runs before the actual drawing. This is going to stick in spurs fans craw
The rehearsal is nothing new. In fact, in 97, we were #1 in the rehearsal, #1 in the real draw, and our number combo popped out again when they were drawing for #2. Three times in a row.
We've drafted old Stan Pat it seems for years.
Iirc holt said “can we pick 2 also?”
That's definitely what it feels like.
I wish the internet was around in May 1997. Would've loved to have seen threads on maximizing that pick in potential trades with Pitino for 3 and 6.
welp
how many times do they rehearse this ?
Until they get the results that they want. J/k! Man I don't want to go down that rabbit hole lol

There were message boards back in '97 but not as sophisticated as Spurstalk but they existed. AOL at the time had biggest basketball message boards on the internet. I went on their Spurs message board and must have read through 100 of spurs messages per day speculating on if the Spurs should trade the number 1 for 3 and 6. 90 percent of Spur fans at the time wanted to keep the number 1 pick and draft Duncan. I still remember Celtic fans saying on the message board at the time that Dave and Tim wouldn't be able to play together since both were Centers and the Spurs would regret not trading the Duncan for 3 and 6. Which was laughable back then.
Was it called Spurs Report?
If you are old enough to remember AOL had their own message boards for the NBA in which every team had their own message board.
