I think bb would be right if there are no alternatives. But there are. Sure, it might slow down temporarily the vaccination rate until there's a way to accurately weed out people that are prone to have this condition due to the J&J vaccine, but it's the right thing to do, IMO.

Yeah my wife showed me the error in my initial thinking. I still think it gives a lot of fuel to the anti-vaxxers and those ers are effective at using anything they are given but as she pointed out it is incorrect to say it's a 1 in 1.2 million risk because it's only happened so far in women under 50. So the risk for that demographic is certainly higher. Pausing and getting more info is the right call.
