Left (including you): "Orangeman bad"
Since 50% are asymptomatic and even more don't have severe symptoms, we can just give the vaccine to those who are at highest risk. Badda boom, badda bing... zoom

get off his penis.
Orange man is a liar. And he has been caught and shows no regret.
but, but, but....
they are all liars. Basic DMC argument.
The fair broker of ST speaks.
wtf are you on?
Think about the vaccines we currently have available every year and what the goal is.
Not as bad as Russia and China tho
He's drunk.
same thing as the mask.
You just want to chain smoke indoors.
chemical imbalance, not consumed, it's endogenous
Id same to a similar degree. Tbqh
China started working on their vaccine way earlier. And Russia used a proven old method, they are not using novel monkey genome methods.
Yep. My parents and mother-in-law will be first in line to get it. Then I'll breathe a sigh of relief and go about my normal life. Asthmatic son has been at college with in person classes for 4 weeks and hasn't caught it so far (at least not that we know of) - no vaccine for him - in his case, the cure might be worse than the disease.
That's cute, bou.
"Monkeys exaggerate, mice lie."
https://scitechdaily.com/ab8-covid-1...s-cov-2-virus/University of Pittsburgh School of Medicine scientists have isolated the smallest biological molecule to date that completely and specifically neutralizes the SARS-CoV-2 virus, which is the cause of COVID-19. This antibody component, which is 10 times smaller than a full-sized antibody, has been used to construct a drug — known as Ab8 — for potential use as a therapeutic and prophylactic against SARS-CoV-2.
The researchers report today (September 14, 2020) in the journal Cell that Ab8 is highly effective in preventing and treating SARS-CoV-2 infection in mice and hamsters. Its tiny size not only increases its potential for diffusion in tissues to better neutralize the virus, but also makes it possible to administer the drug by alternative routes, including inhalation. Importantly, it does not bind to human cells — a good sign that it won’t have negative side-effects in people.
Ab8 was evaluated in conjunction with scientists from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill (UNC) and University of Texas Medical Branch (UTMB) at Galveston, as well as the University of British Columbia and University of Saskatchewan.
“Ab8 not only has potential as therapy for COVID-19, but it also could be used to keep people from getting SARS-CoV-2 infections,” said co-author John Mellors, M.D., chief of the Division of Infectious Diseases at UPMC and Pitt. “Antibodies of larger size have worked against other infectious diseases and have been well tolerated, giving us hope that it could be an effective treatment for patients with COVID-19 and for protection of those who have never had the infection and are not immune.”
notice how many "foreign" surnames are in the list of scientists.
The very foreigners that Trash/Miller want to send home / keep out of USA
our racist foreign policy emphasis is strategically dumb, if tactically effective.

2. Trial suggests antibody drug could reduce patients' hospitalization odds
Eli Lilly's monoclonal coronavirus antibody drug is off to a "good start" after the pharmaceutical giant completed a small clinical trial, Stat News reports.
Only about 450 patients were enrolled in the trial, so there's a long way to go before Lilly finds anything definitive,
but Stat reports the medicine — a manufactured version of the naturally-occurring antibodies the body produces to fend off the virus —
appeared to reduce patients' hospitalization odds.
Only 1.7 percent of the patients who received the drug went to the emergency room or were hospitalized,
compared to 6 percent who took a placebo.
Daniel Skovronsky, Lilly's chief scientific officer, said the early data are "extremely exciting" and
"should give us confidence that neutralizing antibodies are going to be an important part of the solution" to the pandemic.
Skovronsky said the company will discuss additional clinical trials with regulators,
as well as options like an emergency use authorization. [Stat News]

I actually agree
Coronavirus immunity may not last more than 12 months, study finds
A group of scientists studied protective immunity to similar coronaviruses and
reached troubling conclusions

It would be sad if we eventually learn that cheap from CVS could protect you.
Oh well.
