He’s a big, white Forbes. The End.

Leaving contracts out of it, I'd rather have McDermott on my ball club than Forbes. He's not as pure a shooter, but McDermott's actually really good at cutting off the ball, so he's got a 2nd offensive skill in his bag. He's also a better passer (more assists, better A/TO), rebounder (just due to superior size), and (IMO) is a little bit better defensively (again, due to having some size).

Fair assessment, but he has enough size to make a legitimate 3 rather than a 2...

People are starting to see Lonnie’s worth, or, more appropriately, his lack thereof. He falls behind two undrafted players in Forbes and Eubanks, a guy who’s radioactive around the league in Hutch, and the corpse of Aminu.

The only one he's worth more than is the Spurs' marquee free agent acquisition this summer

Based on this, it's looking like the McNugget contract is the worst on the team. Paying someone $42 mil for Belinelli-tier impact is beyond stupid. Guess they overpaid for "character"
