I watch quite a bit of asian football and its amazing how these chinese clubs have bought their way into contention. East Asia was largely dominanted by Korea and Japan a few years back and those countries are still compe ive but all the investment in the last 5 years has given the chinese dominance in the east.

Chinese ball clubs was so ty by asian standards even a few years ago....

    Money really talks I guess.

The funny thing is that 99% of the players who go to China for the money want to leave after the first season.

Players never consider environment. They get blinded by money but after a few months they realize they cant even communicate there properly so they want to go home. A lot of these players usually try to blend in with the small argentine/brazil/wherever they are form to get some sort of social life.

Plus, chinese clubs are notorious for not paying

china compe ion is just pure bull from national league, national team tournaments and club asians champions league

im not certain if this is true in china, but do they allow overseas born chinese players to compete/trials for national team? u can trial and help improve the other fkn gooks skills buut u will never get selected to the national team...

Italian sources claim a chinese team has proposed a 100M€ salary over 5 years to Arda Turan.

Supposedly a £9 million offer for Nikica Jelavic too.

But Dad Killer won't allow it, they need cheap workers for those Nike factories

Not only did he ruin the NBA, but he also ruined Chinese football

I saw a do entary in ESPN about the Chinese league and the s are planning to have the "next Messi" in 20/30 years . They have a long-term plan that begins with hiring top-class players so Chinese boys grow interest in football and start to develop in youth teams.
