No, but the free agent moves have addressed the primary defensive weakness.
best new age defense? I'll give you that although LMA, Fathead murray was pretty tight
No Duncan and Bowen, so no. But you really can't compare anyway. The New NBA doesn't allow defense to be played that way.
2016 Spurs were historic on defense with Green, #2, Duncan and LA. Doubt they can reach that level especially with the rules getting even softer, but our defense should be Top 5 in the league if not the best

Last I checked, Wombat, Forbes and Beli are still on the roster. That guarantees at least 100 PPG from the opponent
