Except that Peralta is a slower player compared with Cheech... At the end of the game, against a tired defense, someone with speed is a very valuable commodity...
BTW I contend that Hernandez's missed shot was more a result of the rifle-waist high pass that Layun sent him... there was no reason for the pass to be both that high or that forceful... Layun had more than ample time to set up a better pass... In fact, all of his crosses were uncharacteristically off today...

Yeah true, but I'd take Peralta's dribbling over Javiers any day of the week, Javier when marked right, is pretty much useless. Peralta can get the ball and dribble past defenders way better than Javier
But I agree, nothing better then fresh legs, now that I think about it.
Which is why those two annulled off-sides goals are going to be huge going forward.... hopefully, Mexico does its job on the field and doesn't have to depend on goal differential to advance out of the group...
Not even worried about the goal differential, theyll find a way to advance over Croatia. We always get out of the group stage then proceed to lose in Round of 16. Its our destiny tbh.
