Here you go Shoogar Bear, blackbucket, CyberBob and anyone else who missed the first fantasy league.
Here is the league for the people who missed out on the first fantasy league. This one also has a limit of 20 teams. I suspect that it will probably fill up as well. If it doesn't, we'll ask people from the first league to be in both so that we'll have two 20 team leagues.
Since there are no dates available to have a live draft, we'll conduct the draft in our chat room. The tentative date and time is Saturday, October 23rd at 6PM. This can be changed if enough people can't make it.
Since Fantasy Basketball is so hard to keep up with, I've configured the settings so that there is minimal work that needs to be done on a weekly basis. Here are the settings:
Basically, you start 11 players (4 guards, 4 forwards and 3 centers) and you have 1 bench player. It's a weekly head-to-head league with playoffs at the end of the year. You are allowed only 5 transactions and 2 trades for the season. You can only edit your lineups on Mondays ... so you don't have to worry about keeping an eye on it everyday.Code:Scoring Type: Head-to-Head Max Moves: 5 Max Trades: 2 Trade Reject Time: 2 Trade End Date: February 24, 2005 Waiver Time: 2 days Can't Cut List Provider: Yahoo! Sports Trade Review: Commissioner Post Draft Players: Free Agents Weekly Deadline: Weekly on Monday Start Scoring on: Week 1 Roster Positions: G, G, G, G, F, F, F, F, C, C, C, BN Stat Categories: FG%, FT%, 3PTM, PTS, REB, AST, ST, BLK, TO
We'll have a Grand Prize for the champion at the end of the season.
To join, here is the information. There is a maximum of 20 teams, so get in before it is too late.

Team: Boomers
Kinda flows off the tongue, doesn't it?
timvp what GMT is that? Just so that i can work out the equivelent down here.
I think Central time is GMT-6. Someone else should verify though.
-5 according to what I have on my computer right now.
Just use this timezone converter for your country and you should be able to figure it out.

May I officially make a motion that we increase max number of transactions allowed to at least 20, plus some IR spots?
We will probably have 25 transactions and 2 IR spots.
Thanks Kori.
Q#2. What happens if we absolutely can't make the live draft? Is there a pre-ranked list that can pick for us, or is that out the window since we're doing it offline? I'm not sure right now if I'll be available, so I could drop out now if we absolutely positively have to be around for the draft.
Hopefully everyone will make the drafts. If someone fails to make it, we'll go by the Yahoo defaults when selecting players for absent teams.
How is draft order determined?
We'll just put the teams in some sort of random generator and get the order.
Thanks Kori, 9am Sunday Australian EST

So the winner of the first league will play against the winner of the second one?
And the prize will be........
. . . complete deference to all your posts--no matter how stupid--by all members of FSP for one year.
The official logo for DC Basket Racing:
seems like a good prize for me
