If you want to wait there is a big Steam Sale rumored to start tomorrow so you might be able to get 0-2 on PC if you prefer playing there. 0 and Kiwami both run 60 fps on PS4 though, but Kiwami 2 is 30 on PS4 while it's 60 fps or better on PC if you have a decent video card, say RX 580 / GTX 1660 / GTX 1070 or better. None of 3-6 has been announced for PC yet though... however 7 has. But 7 is called Yakuza Like a Dragon in the US and is a turn based RPG with a new character Ichiban instead of Kiryu.

Getting platinums is a huge pain in the ass though in this series and I'd advise against trying to get them. Also it's funny, in the hostess clubs some of the girls you sit with are real life porn stars. Like Kana Momonogi is one of the girls to date in Yakuza 3.

I play the first playthrough my way without a guide but then I head to pstrophies for a guide for the hidden trophies and which way is the optimal etc.

Imo yakuza 0 has the 2nd best story of all time. Only behind suikoden 2.

Dude Kiwami 1 and especially Kiwami 2 are awesome on story too. Also Kiwami 2 has some really cool story tie-ins to 0.

I love how easy it was to play non regional games on the Dreamcast. Al you needed to do was run an import disc, pop it out and insert the game and it would read and play it. Oh Sega, god bless you.

Man, talk about flooding my head with memories. I spent so many CDRs on burning games for the Dreamcast Just had to find the cue/bin files (thanks newsgroups!), burn at the slowest speed possible to improve the readability of the CDs and then use the Utopia boot disk to run the games... or they eventually became self-booting if I remember correctly.

It was also a blast playing NBA 2k on dial up

If you have a Dreamcast nowadays and you want to save your GDRom from wear and tear, you can take it out and mod it with something called GDEMU that reads game images from a memory card. I'm kind of itching to try it out just for the of it.

I'm guessing I'm maybe over a third or close to halfway thru LoU2 and it's been pretty excellent imo thus far. i know a lot of the complaints with the story are in the second half of the game but honestly i'm having a blast playing this so far. nothing more enjoyable than taking out an entire group of ers all in stealth
