LeBron will instantly be the Greatest player to ever wear the purple and gold, which is weird to think about. But it’s not even arguable. He’s not the greatest Laker ever, but he’s the greatest player ever to be a Laker. That’s a fact.

Getting Lebron on the back end is like "Bug ing deal". Lakers should be worried about the next 15 years. Not the next 2. This with Lebron, is idiotic. It is not 2010 anymore..

    Cruel?

Pop treated leonard like a robot. Someone who he can bench whemever he wants just to shows its his coaching that wins the games. They went 62 to 47 without him.

    Pop is the problem here.
Leonard's the one who acted like the robot, remember what Fizdale said about Kawhi bleeding antifreeze?

Crazy to think, but I may root for the Warriors after this offseason

I rooted for the Warriors like crazy when the stands were empty & they were at the bottom of the Conference standings .... but still managed to beat the Mavs. lol

Now, it's possible he could just be there for the Smokey Robinson concert tonight at the Greek theater so I wouldn't draw any conclusions as to his pending free agency but who knows....

Kawhi was out the door and locked it, Tony just tapped on the window and pointed at him leaving.

    go to the clippers lebron.
Won't happen, but could you imagine the meltdown from Laker fans if after all the hype, and all the rumors, LeBron said "I'm joining the LA.... Clippers"?

How the is the team supposed to win at a high level when Leonard, their best player sits out the season? And the job of the player is to play. Not be a whiny about an injury and sit it out. They paid him 19 mil to sit it out. If he was faking are you cool with him collecting 19 mil to sit on his ass? Disgraceful.
he was not faking it, maybe he could have try to play through it but he didn't see the point to sacrifice himself anymore while being so hurt by the team...

Normally this would piss me off but not now with Kawhi destroying the Spurs. It will be a long time before the Spurs are a contender so I could careless about what the Warriors do from this point forward. I will say I'm not shocked the Warriors are in the running for these guys since I expected them to be able to easily get a bunch of ring chasing s.

Kawhi ran away to New York and wanted his teammates to have his back?

Did he want everyone to quit and go with him?

Maybe a slumber party in the Big Apple?

I hope West can pull something off and get Kawhi and give the Spurs a nice trade.

Kawhi vs Lebron the battle for LA, come on ESPN will have a field day.

At the media attempting to spin James' opting out (when he was always going to do so) as the Spurs losing leverage, as well as Lowe acting as if James would be fine going to the Lakers solo.

Going into his 16th season, turning age 34 during it, with mileage closer to a 40 year old, somehow I don't think he's okay with essentially throwing a year in the garbage (especially considering he wasn't in '14-'15 or '17-18), while babysitting the Lakers overrated, immature kids and risking Leonard cozying up to the 76ers and re-signing . . . or worse, the Spurs not trading him and getting him signed to the super max.

Even if George re-signs on a 1+1 deal and comes next off season, he's not enough.

He is a pathetic baby. That he pulled will not play with any team in the league. When the team says you are healthy, you are expected to get back out there. When you refuse to play, there is going to be friction. The longer is drags out the worse the friction will be. Add in that the Spurs are the best team with managing minutes, and injuries and Leonard is simply a clown. His career is never going to be like it was IMO. We have seen the best of him..
