Manu especially. I wouldn't roll the dice on CP over Parker with all that's said about how he's a locker room cancer.
But I could see it working well or even better for a time.
2009ish, Parker was playing like the MVP.
He probably finished like 6th in the vote cos the league ain't having that.

Didn’t help Mitch Richmond, who most people don’t realize coattailed one with the Lakers. It’s not just the ring, it’s your role in getting it.
what everyone is overlooking is how much better cp3 would’ve made td and manu. the dude is a natural PG and tony never was.
a three peat would’ve been extremely possible TBH.
cp3 is currently #5 in all time steals.
i’d legit guess that tony might be #50 on that list.
defense wins championships.
cp3 / manu / bowen / timmy… they would’ve been a BEAST.
would’ve gone down as one of the greatest teams ever assembled.
miss me with this cp3 is a cancer bs, tony slept with his teammate’s wife
Right. He only played 4 total playoff minutes that season. T-Mac's career wouldn't have been viewed much differently had he gotten a ring with the 2013 Spurs too.
I could see very late career CP3 having a Gary Payton-like role on a contender, though. Payton played every game in the 2006 playoff run and averaged 24.3 MPG. Not a star but still an important bench player.
153rd tbh
#2 is jason kidd ... now that’s the big What If
people forget that CP3 was very injury prone before he went vegan. Dude used to get injured in the playoffs every year
that was 2013 when he finished #6 iirc
At one point in his career Tony was better than Chris Paul. This we know. Tony used to own his ass. Tony used to own everyone. Great players do that.
good point... came close to happening too.
Imagine Chris Paul against the Heat 2013 defense lmao, his hips and ankles woulda turned to dust in the first game. This place would have been epic, EDP level meltdowns as far as the forum goes
cp3 wouldn’t have gotten hurt in the playoffs so much if he had the help that tony had.
I think Paul doesn't have beef with Duncan if they play together. They were both Demon Deacons. Duncan was already a proven winner and Champion. Duncan practiced and honed his game like few have. Plus, no one, and I mean no one, wants to feel the burning of their soul from one of Timmy's stares. Also, Timmy would have lit CP3's ass up on the paintball course if he got out of line.
You just went full re son.
lol at the idea of Jamal Crawford going against the 2005 Pistons.
exactly hahaha. I don't know why this is swept under the rug
