If you stopped squinting for a second , you would see Lonzo had a solid game and didn't get outplayed by Russell.

Russell is also in his 4th season, Lonzo doesn't even have a full nba season under his belt.

Ball had a good game against the Nets, but Russell had more impact. I don't think dumping Russell to pick up Lonzo was a great decision.

Not gonna lie, that hurt my heart to see D'Lo last night. I should have known he'd hit a dagger. SMH

Imagine if they kept him and drafted Tatum.

    Exactly............

I dont know what to say about Lonzo. Sometimes he plays and Im like he isnt too bad, then sometimes Im like good lawd he sucks. I guess its because he shows zero emotion. Kawhi Leonard, without the sweet jump shot.

how dare you dismiss Ja'lil Duncanfor?!
Stephen A not only said Lakers messed up for passing on him, he killed the Knicks for taking Porzy instead ... who may still bust ...but at least it's due to health not performance. Raven had similar takes.

Oakfor did look pretty good last night he scored 15 in his first 7 mins.
But did so against Bucks back up bigs and their small ball lineup, but still ...
My buiddy is a bucks fan and was pissed at how good the bucks were making him look ...

He locks himself down pretty nicely on the regular, too. That shooting form is the best D anybody can hope for.

Lonzo's a good defender, but that Kemba game got debunked a while ago. Turned out that Kemba was actually just missing shots (while being in a shooting slump to begin with, I'm talking shooting ~35% over a span of 15 or so games) or got challenged by Chandler at the rim. At the same time Ball got torched and demolished by Wall of all people.

Lonzo's defense is real, it was last year, as well..he could have been prime Jason Kidd if he was born 20 years earlier, but that style only works as a role player today..

If he's going to accept being a role player his entire career, then he's going to be a good complimentary piece to have like the 2011 Mavs version of Kidd.. self-awareness is essential in the NBA, accepting that you're never going to be a star could make or break a career..
