Two goals in the span of like a minute for Wilshere and Giroud.
LMAO the Arsenal twitter account hasn't even described Jacky boy's goal yet and then Giroud scores
To quote QOTSA, it should all be smooth sailing from here on out for Arsenal in this game.
wow, just wow
Rose is very fast. They have very good speed wide. Vertonghen is excellent. Dawson is the weak one in the middle. Both Walker and Rose get caught trying to do a bit much. This is as talented a club as they have had in a while. I don't think they can get it together though.
Verminator
Ozil...
Not in the mood. He will have to play better or Manchester City will walk the ball in.
Oh, the guy that Rozza took a hot wet on?
Wilshere was a boss yesterday, tbh.
Ozil with the bads, although even when he's terrible he still finds a way to contribute (his ball to Monreal set up the Wilshere goal)
Santi was horrible yesterday.
He wasn't as bad as Ozil, but that goal was definitely his fault.
YES he was as bad as Özil.
Rose has been a target ever since he got injured. The kid is still fast. The Spurs best playmaker is Ericksen and their strikers will soon be limited to Adebayor and Saldado. Kane will be the replacement when Defoe leaves. This is going to be their downfall imo. Not Walker, Rose and Vertonghen with Lloris in goal.
Dont see them getting crushed again as they don't play the AVB high line with Sherwood. They will be lucky to get to 4th though.
Bentaleb plays because Sherwood knows him well and he has been their most pleasant surprise. He would not play if AVB was still manager.
AVB signed Bentaleb though
But he probably would have called him up in 2 years
While I agree that Özil was pretty much invisible for the first 75 minutes except for that great pass to Monreal which lead to Wilshere's goal, Özil was also the only one was trying to hold the ball in the last 15 minutes. All the others dropped it like a hot potato and lost possession faster than gaining it.
Yes, Sherwood coached him directly everyday. AVB did not even give him a look in the Europa league after the Spurs had already advanced in group play. The kid has been very involved against lesser PL sides. Sherwood wants him now. It will be interesting to see if he stays in the lineup after a number of injured players return and Spurs play a top PL side. Sherwood clearly has great faith in the kid. I think he had more successful passes than anyone in the PL last week.
